Bankhead Plaza Hosts Lunar New Year Celebration
The free festival is one of two New Years celebrations in Livermore this weekend.
LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore is celebrating the Year of the Dragon with a free festival at Bankhead Plaza Sunday run by Livermore Valley Arts. The festival will take place from 10-2 and feature demonstrations, performances, and arts, including a Tai Chi demonstration, traditional Chinese dance, dragon balloon art, and vendors and booths where people can make traditional lanterns.
On Saturday, San Francisco Premium Outlets is hosting a celebration from 1-4 that will feature a lion dance performance and origami crafts.
