G&M Corn Maze, Joan's Farm Open Saturday

Enjoy a six-acre corn maze, farm animals, hay rides, and so much more at these two fall attractions opening Saturday.

LIVERMORE, CA — Fall is officially here, and in Livermore, that means corn mazes, hayrides, pumpkin bowling, and more.

On Saturday, two fall fun farms will open for the season: G&M Farms, and Joan’s Farm & Pumpkin Patch.

G&M Farms Pumpkin Patch on Isabel Avenue is home to a six-acre cornfield maze that was voted Best Seasonal Attraction in the East Bay by Diablo Magazine. The labyrinthine maze was even featured on the David Letterman Show. It’s open Saturday from 10-9, Sunday from 10-6, and Wednesday through Friday from 3 to 7.

G&M Farms also offers a free pumpkin patch and farm animals during the week. On the weekend, families can enjoy pony rides, pedal carts, jumping pillows, a hay ride, and the Cow Train.

Reservations are not required to visit the farm. Tickets to the corn maze cost $10 for adults, $9 for children, and are free for children under five. Parking and general admission are free.

Joan’s Farm & Pumpkin Patch on 4351 Mines Road is also opening Saturday, and is open until Oct. 29 from 10 to 6 except Mondays (it will be open Monday, Oct. 9.) The farm offers all varieties of fall fun, including a snack shack, corn maze, pumpkin patch, pumpkin bowling, farm animals, an inflatable slide, an Old West Town, a museum of old farm equipment, and picnic areas.
