LIVERMORE, CA — 2024 may have just started, but Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District is already looking to next year. The district is enrolling all grades for the 2024-25 school year. Students must turn five by Sep. 1, 2024 to enroll in kindergarten, and transitional kindergarten is open to students who turn five between Sep. 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025.
Students who are already enrolled do not need to re-enroll. However, if families are interested in attending a school other than the one they are zoned for, they can complete an online Intra-District Transfer Request. Priority will be given to requests received between Jan. 8 and March 1, and notifications will be given in May.
Informational nights and enrollment fairs will take place in February. Staff will be present to present paperwork and answer questions. Parents will also be able to meet the principal.

TK/Kindergarten Parent Information Nights will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. in multi-purpose rooms (MPR’s) at the following locations:
- Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024: Junction Ave TK-8 School, 298 Junction Avenue
- Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024: Jackson Avenue Elementary School, 554 Jackson Avenue
