Suspects Accused Of Stealing Mail From Livermore: LPD

LIVERMORE, CA — Three suspects are accused of stealing more than 100 pieces of mail from Livermore and Stockton residents, according to the Livermore Police Department.

On Tuesday at around 3 a.m., Livermore police received a report of suspects stealing mail around Dana Circle in a gray Toyota Prius. Officers located the Prius on Portola Avenue near North Livermore Avenue and conducted a traffic stop for vehicle code violations.

Officers searched the car and say they found more than 100 pieces of suspected stolen mail from Livermore and Stockton addresses. Police also say they found methamphetamine in the car.

Police arrested Shadraia Butler-Isaac, 45, Dominic Mearis, 38, and Carl Williams, 37, all of Stockton. Mearis was on parole for pandering, and Williams had multiple felony warrants for charges related to identity theft and stolen vehicles, according to police.

All were arrested and taken to Santa Rita Jail.
