Burglary Suspect Arrested In Connection To 11 Long Beach Incidents

LONG BEACH, CA — A suspect believed to be connected to 11 commercial burglaries in Long Beach spanning five months was arrested, police announced Friday.

According to police, suspect Lino Zamora, 43, forced entry into multiple businesses and broke into stand-alone ATMs from Nov. 30, 2023 to April 24, 2024. Officers located Zamora on May 25 and arrested him on suspicion of commercial burglary and a probation violation.

During the burglaries, Zamora allegedly used various tools to break into the businesses and then used a 4-5 foot prybar to force access into the ATM. The incidents include:

  • Dec. 27, 2023 about 4:09 a.m. - 1900 block of East Anaheim Street
  • Dec. 28, 2023 about 4:05 a.m. - 1800 block of Atlantic Avenue
  • Jan. 2, 2024 about 5:12 a.m. - 700 block of East Anaheim Street
  • Jan. 3, 2024 about 4:27 a.m. - 1000 block of East Pacific Coast Highway
  • Jan. 5, 2024 about 2:36 a.m. - 1000 block of East 7th Street
  • Jan. 12, 2024 about 5:40 a.m. - 400 block of Redondo Avenue

The case has been presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for filing consideration.
