Performing Arts Workshops, voted BEST Summer Camp in LA Parent Magazine, is excited to announce we are a Fully Vaccinated Summer Camp this 2022 season with a population consisting of only vaccinated campers and faculty! A perfect choice for families who have been excited to see their children once again enjoy an IN-PERSON camp with a safe community of their peers. Here at PAW, we are proud to say that along with the fun…we place the highest priority on the safety and wellbeing of our campers, their families, and of course, our teaching faculty. We accomplish this with measures such as requiring vaccination, mask wearing while in-doors and frequent hand washing.

In each two-week session of Musical Theater camp, we offer a new theatrical theme drawing music, scenes and dance from the most beloved modern and classic Musical Theater of our time. This, coupled with the guidance of our amazing teachers, fosters a “creative state” with which students are empowered to realize their personal and artistic potential. In addition to these core skills, our campers will also enjoy learning about physical comedy, stage presence, commercial acting, playwriting, improv and much, much, more!

PAW’s award-winning camps for our 2022 lineup includes: Musical Theater Camp, as well as Guitar, Debate, Stand Up Comedy, Photography & Cheer Camps!

“Our kids don’t need to be experts – they can just have a curiosity and love for performing,” says Cheryl Appleman, with over 30 years as PAW President. “In each session, campers participate in a creative performance which is free and attended by family and friends.”

Each of PAW’s one and two week camps are led by nurturing, skilled instructors who work together to bring out the best in the children and create a summer experience where the campers will make friends and lifelong memories. Campers range in ages from 5 to 14. Doors open as early as 8:00am, with camp hours from 9:00am to 3:00pm and extended play is offered until 5:00pm at most locations, with sessions running through August 5th.
