True Food Kitchen Opens in Century City

Delicious healthy dishes come to the Westfield Mall

True Food Kitchen has opened its 44th location at the Westfield Century City mall. Founded by anti-inflammatory specialist Dr. Andrew Weil, the restaurant chain offers seasonally driven healthy dishes.

The new location is open and airy providing both indoor and outside seating. Inside diners can admire the floor-to-ceiling mural of the chain’s iconic “Green Goddess” woman while enjoying healthy dishes in warm beige booths and wood tables. There is a central square bar and glass doors connecting the interior dining room to the outside patio area. Outside is a living succulent wall with booths and tables.

The menu includes a variety of non-inflammatory sharable items. Diners can enjoy sunny side up eggs and chicken sausage on a sweet potato hash, blueberry pancakes, smashed avocado toast and mushroom breakfast tacos for weekend brunch.

Weekday lunch and dinner dishes include a variety of salads and a teriyaki quinoa bowl, a spicy Panang curry bowl, a Korean noodle bowl, a burrito bowl and an ancient grains bowl. Hearty dishes include a spaghetti squash casserole, edamame dumplings with dashi, tuna poke, a grass fed steak, pan roasted chicken, grilled salmon in a Thai corn broth, Idaho rainbow trout, and seared tuna tataki. There’s also a variety of pizzas including spinach and mushroom, bison sausage, margherita, chicken sausage and garden pesto pies.

Desserts include a strawberry cake and ice cream, flourless chocolate cake, a mango tarte with blueberry and coconut whipped cream, a turtle sundae and a pink lime tart with ube.

Cocktails include a mimosa, watermelon spritz, Bloody Mary, pink spritz, aperol spritz and a spiked vodka dragon fruit lemonade. They also offer refreshers including The O.G. with ginger honey and lime; a dragon fruit pink lemonade; Adaptogenic Tulsi Tea with basil, honey and ginger and a sparkling prickly pear Tisande with hibiscus and lime.

Reservations can be made through Open Table. True Food Kitchen Century City is located at 10250 Santa Monica Blvd., Suite 1400. Open Monday through Thursday, 11am to 9pm, Friday 11am to 10pm, Saturday 10am to 10pm and Sunday 10am to 9pm.
