Via Veneto Brings A Taste of Italy to Santa Monica

Located on Main Street in Santa Monica, Via Veneto offers some of the best Italian dishes in Los Angeles. It’s also the perfect location for a romantic dinner with stone floors, intimate white cloth tables, gorgeous huge chandeliers and dim lighting.

Once inside, diners are transported from the hustle and bustle of busy Main Street to a quiet and relaxing refuge.

Appetizers include a baby artichoke salad, beef carpaccio with truffles, meatballs with shaved Parmigiano Reggiano in a spicy tomato sauce, Maine lobster with quinoa in a citrus vinaigrette, burrata and tomatoes with prosciutto and roasted bone marrow.

The pasta dishes are all delicious sand include gnocchi with butter and sage, cacio e pepe, langoustines in a spicy tomato sauce, spaghetti and clams, spaghetti carbonara and fettucine with meat sauce. There is also two risottos, one with porcini mushrooms and truffles and one with mixed seafood.

Main dishes include a salt crusted Loup de Mer, wild Alaskan salmon, Jidori chicken, veal scaloppine, veal Milanese, lamb chops with rosemary, Dover sole and a grilled ribeye.

Sides include white asparagus, sauteed spinach, Swiss chard, broccolini, roasted peppers and roasted potatoes.

Desserts include tiramisu, panna cotta, gelato, profiteroles, chocolate lava cake and affogato.
