Ocean Use Warning Extends For Swimmers, Surfers In Marina Del Rey
Here's what you should know before you go swimming or surfing at Los Angeles County beaches.
MARINA DEL REY, CA — Several beaches in Los Angeles County remain under ocean water use warning Thursday, including Mother's Beach in Marina del Rey, Los Angeles County Department of Public Health officials said.
People are urged to be careful before playing or swimming in the ocean at the following beaches:
- Redondo Beach at Sapphire Street
- Inner Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro
- Mother's Beach in Marina Del Rey
- Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica
"The warning has been issued due to bacterial levels exceeding health standards when last tested," public health officials said.

Warnings were lifted Thursday for the following beaches:
- Ballona Creek at Dockweiler State Beach (near Dockweiler Tower 40)
- Malibu Lagoon at Surfrider Beach
