VIDEO: Academy Award Winner Eddie Redmayne's Groundbreaking Role in "The Danish Girl"

Since winning the Best Actor Oscar at this year’s Academy Awards with his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in “ The Theory Of Everything,” Eddie Redmayne is quickly becoming synonymous with groundbreaking roles in the cinematic world.

In our most recent interview , The Oscar-winner revealed that he loves “trying to do different things both in work life and home life, and keeping life varied and colorful.“

The English actor has taken on another challenging role in his new movie, “The Danish Girl.” In the film, Redmayne stars as the transgender artist Lili Elbe, formerly known as the Danish born painter Einar Mogens Wegener, who with the support of his wife, Gerda Gottlieb (portrayed by Alicia Vikander), was one of the first people to undergo gender reassignment surgery in the 1930s.

“The Danish Girl” will be released in the USA on Nov 27, 2015.
