Highway 37 Reopens After Flooding Prompted Weekend Closure
A Novato Creek levy overflow triggered the flooding, Caltrans said.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — All lanes on Highway 37 reopened late Monday morning after flooding over the weekend prompted the road’s closure between Highway 101 and Atherton Avenue.
All eastbound lanes in Marin were open as of 11 a.m. Monday.
The right westbound lane of the highway was closed as of Monday, with no estimate for when it would reopen.

The full highway closure went into effect just after 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
Caltrans crews on Sunday were able to pump out standing water from the highway.

A Novato Creek levy overflow triggered the flooding, Caltrans said.
“Caltrans understands this highway closure has impacted the daily commute for residents who live in Marin and other North Bay communities,” the agency said.
