RIVERSIDE, CA β€” Forecasters are predicting a chance of more rain in Riverside County next week, most likely Monday and again Friday and next Saturday.

Monday includes a chance of showers in the county, including downtown Riverside, Palm Springs and Hemet, according to the National Weather Service. Those areas could see more rain next Saturday, and Hemet and Banning might also see rain on Friday, the NWS said.

Sunday's daytime temperatures in the downtown Riverside and Hemet areas will be in the low 70s, with overnight lows dropping to the 40s and winds between 5 and 10 mph.

The rest of the week was predicted to be mostly sunny. The Riverside metropolitan area was predicted to have temperatures near the 70s by day and 50s at night. Hemet was predicted to be slightly colder with temperatures in the low 60s during the day and mid-40s at night.

The Coachella Valley can expect to see mostly cloudy skies in the beginning of the week, with highs in the mid-70s and lows in the 50s.
