Bizerkeley Food Fest Returns Labor Day Weekend For Annual Vegan Bash

Guests can enjoy over 75 vendors at the family-friendly gathering on Sept. 3.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - The Bizerkeley Food Fest is returning to the Bay Area on Sunday, Sept. 3 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Sports Basement Berkeley located at 2727 Milvia St. Berkeley, CA 94703. The Bizerkeley was founded in 2021 by Erika Hazel, The Bizerkeley Vegan. The festival will feature over 75 vendors from around the United States. Vendors include food and beverage, lifestyle, wellness, fashion and beauty, as well as product service and nonprofit organizations. There will also be games to enjoy and a kid's zone for families.

“This event is unlike any other and features the most diverse range of vendors we’ve ever had,” said Erika Hazel, The Bizerkeley Vegan.

Vegan dessert options include Mr. Dewie's Cashew Creamery, Green Flour Bakery, Raydiant Vybes, Sweet Diane's granola as well as Sweet Flour Bakery and Mad Vegan Co. Culinary brands participating include Black Sheep Foods, Green Wolf Salami, Health Bear Food Company, Better Chew Kitchen, Mina Masala, Da Ethos Vegan, De La Paz Remedios, Donna's Tamales, Earthy Vegan Cuisine, HumBowls, Plant N’ Soul, and Vegan Chula.

Organizations on-site include Action for a Healthy Planet, California Pit Bull Rescue, Friends of Berkeley Animal Care Services, Farm Fresh To You, New York Life Insurance, San Francisco Veg Society, The Vegan Stay – and the Food Fest’s own nonprofit and community partner, Herd and Flock Animal Sanctuary.

Entrances will be at Shattuck Street and Milvia Street and there will be an outdoor parking lot on Derby Street.
