SAN FRANCISCO, CA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

The sweltering heat continues around NorCal, with some areas inland expected to soar up to 110 degrees. An Excessive Heat Warning has been issued for much of the region throughout the week. The heat has resulted in more fires, including another wildfire in eastern Alameda County. A house fire broke out in Santa Rosa, but luckily everyone was saved, including the dog. This was just one dog rescue in the Bay: a poodle mix and their owner were rescued by firefighters while trapped in a precarious spot on a San Francisco cliff. And in other good news, a missing baby that caused an Amber Alert was found.
