SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A GoFundMe account has been set up for the family of a 6-year-old Black child who was shot to death in San Francisco on the 4th of July. There's been an outpouring of support for the boy's family, including from members of the San Francisco Police Department.

Jace Young's family asked for $20,000 to cover funeral expenses. Far more than that has been raised.

In a city where multiple Black Lives Matter marches have been held since the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis after a police officer held him down by the neck, members of the San Francisco Police Department are showing that Black Lives Matter to them by contributing their own money to Jace's family.
