“Planting seeds symbolizes growth and renewal, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and a hope for a greener future,” said HeeBong Hyun, MS, RD, General Manager for SFSU Dining. “This served as a meaningful reminder of collective responsibility to care for the planet and for students to take action in their own lives.”

One student commented, "'Plant a Seed Day' is a great reminder to slow down and appreciate nature. It felt good to get my hands dirty and contribute to a greener campus. Can't wait to see my seedling grow!"
