A Memorial Day Ceremony at Lacy Park

a reminder to all of us the cost of freedom!

May 28, 2018 was a picture perfect weather for the "Memorial Day Ceremony" at Lacy Park in San Marino, it served as a reminder to all of us the cost of freedom is not free!

Today our nation play tribute to every veteran & to honor, to remember for all the Men & Women who served & risk their life for our country.

“This is the day we pay homage to all those who didn’t come home” Tamra Bolton wrote “this is not Veterans Day, it’s not a celebration, it is a day of solemn contemplation the cost of freedom”.

Mitch Lehman, emcee of the event delivered a moving speech about Raye Cheng, San Marino High School 2018, Appointee to the Class Of 2022 United States Military Academy, West Point. We are so proud for Raye Cheng, soon our Titan graduate for his willingness to serve our country.

Wendy L. Glazier, Commander, U.S. Navy (Ret.) was the keynote speaker & share her experience at military academy training and how she overcome her obstacle.

The program concluded with reading of names on Memorial Wall by San Marino Police Chief John Incontro, accompany by ringing of bell as names are read by Raye Cheng.
