Proposed School Bond Will Be Discussed at Town Hall Meeting Tonight

A citizen-led town hall question and answer session regarding the proposed $148 million facilities modernization project currently under consideration by the San Marino Unified School will be held this evening in the Hill Harbison House - formerly the Girls Scout House - from 7-9:00 p.m.
San Marino's school board will vote on Tuesday, Feb. 13 to determine if a general obligation bond election to fund the project will go on the June 5 ballot. At the board's meeting on Tues., January 23, several citizens spoke during the public comment section asking for more information.
Superintendent Dr. Alex Cherniss and School Board President Shelley Ryan will be in attendance to answer questions.
