Storm Knocks Out Power To Hundreds In San Marino

Southern California Edison is working to restore power to San Marino after the storm knocked out the electricity early Tuesday.

SAN MARINO, CA — The wind and rain knocked out power to hundreds of customers in the San Marino area and adjacent cities.

At about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning amid heavy wind and downpours, about 219 customers in San Marino lost power. Southern California Edison officials said they are aware of the problem and are working to restore power to the region. However, the company did not give an estimate of the time the power would be restored.

In all, about 6,500 people around the county are without electricity due to the storm.
