Municipal Election 2024: Official Candidates

The following residents have qualified and are candidates for San Ramon’s November 5, 2024 Municipal Election. The candidates are listed in the order in which they will appear on the ballot (per the Secretary of State's alphabetical order) as follows:

Registration Opens to Residents Monday, August 19

The Fall 2024 Recreation Guide is now available online! Physical copies will be arriving in San Ramon resident mailboxes later this week.

Registration Open for Middle School Teen Centers

Registration is currently open for San Ramon Teen Centers at Iron Horse & Pine Valley Middle Schools. Our Teen Centers are havens for teens to tackle homework, chill with friends, and enjoy safe after-school adventures!

Construction Update: Crow Canyon Widening
Construction Continues Between Alcosta Blvd & St. George Road

Work continues on the Crow Canyon Widening Project between Alcosta Boulevard and Crow Canyon Private (Cobblestone).

Work Recently Completed Through 8/15/24:

  • Began removal of pole bases east of Crow Canyon Private
  • Poured concrete median tips
  • Installed irrigation sleeves
  • Removed long-term eastbound traffic control
  • Completed eastbound planting and mulch

Work Planned Through 8/23/24:

*The work listed below requires closure of one westbound travel lane

  • Continue westbound storm drain and grading work.
  • Continue subgrade work for the northside path
  • Continue installing header boards for northside path
  • Concrete work on Friday, August 16 -- please watch for concrete trucks and lane closures

Construction Update: Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing
Upcoming Changes to Bollinger Canyon Road Traffic

Work continues on the Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing at Bollinger Canyon Road. Please see below for anticipated upcoming work.

Work Recently Completed Through 8/15/24:

  • Poured foundation for overcrossing stairs
  • Adjusted traffic signal indicators
  • Held MSE wall coating demonstration
  • Poured Bearing Pedestal at Abutment 1 & 2

Work Anticipated Through 8/23/24:

  • Continue demolition, excavation, and grading on the Iron Horse Trail
  • Continue embankment grading
  • Continue electrical work for pathway lighting and begin drill, pour, and form pathway light foundations
  • Continue pedestrian sidewalk pour at south end of the project
  • Begin preparation of detour signage for a full road closure (Bollinger Canyon Road from Camino Ramon to Market Place) scheduled to begin in September. More details and dates to follow next week
