Doggie Brunch Debuts At Tallula's In SM (People Food Available, Too)

Chef-curated dishes for pampered pets include Beef Pie Bandera, Wolf's Brunch & for pups with sweet tooth,a Good Dog Sundae in Santa Monica.

SANTA MONICA, CA — Let the dogs out!

Tallula's, a beach-area, Mexican cantina off Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, is launching a weekend brunch menu catering to canines.

Chef Juan Robles has whipped up such pup-approved plates as: "Beef Pie Bandera" ($5 small & $9 large) with ground beef, carrots, steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes & sweet potato; “Wolf’s Brunch” ($30) with raw, grass-fed hanger steak, steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes and corn; "Watermelon Bites" ($4 small & $7 large); and "Good Dog Sundae" ($5 small & $8 large) with bananas, peanut butter, whipped cream and dog-treat sprinkles.

The dog-friendly menu— dubbed “Pooches & Palomas” — is offered Saturdays and Sundays, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on the outdoor patio. Portions are available in small and large portions.

And for the humans at the other end of the leash, Tallula's weekend brunch include such offerings as chilaquiles, eggs in a blanket, breakfast burritos, huevos rancheros and more. See the full menu here.
