Flooding Reported On I-80 In Fairfield
The roadway flooding was first reported at about 9:20 a.m. Wednesday.
SOLANO COUNTY, CA —Rain was pounding the North Bay Wednesday, flooding at least one major roadway. California Highway Patrol reported at 9:20 a.m. that water was beginning to seep into the number 1 lane of eastbound Interstate Highway 80 near N. Texas Street in Fairfield.
Soon, the left lane of westbound of I-80 at N. Texas was also starting to flood, CHP reported.
The situation was continuing as of noon Wednesday, with motorists experiencing traffic delays in the area, according to CHP and Caltrans.
