5 SoCal Communities Make List Of CA Towns With Holiday Spirit

If you’re on the lookout for festive holiday fun, there are plenty of options right here in Southern California. Visit California released a list of towns with holiday spirit across the state and five regional destinations were recognized for their seasonal spark.

Big Bear Lake

Take in the snow and glow of a classic holiday scene without leaving Southern California. The village features seasonal lights as well as seven carved bears and other animals. Plus, it’s only 25 miles from Lake Arrowhead’s Skypark at Santa’s Village, where you can meet the man himself and enjoy other seasonal fun. Temecula Valley

Take in a holiday light competition, taste themed food and drinks, and try ice skating in outdoor rinks during Temecula Chilled, the area’s seasonal celebration across Wine Country, Old Town and Pechanga Resort Casino. Newport Beach

The Orange County community is making spirits bright with over 200 decorated watercraft during the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade, a century-old tradition. Dana Point Harbor
