Arab American Heritage Celebrated In Temecula City Mural Project

This mural celebrates National Arab American Heritage Month, focusing on an Arab Cityscape theme, and painted by elite local artists.

TEMECULA, CA—The City of Temecula and the Temecula Valley Museum invite all art and culture enthusiasts to view the latest temporary mural, Arab American Heritage, located in the park adjacent to the museum. According to a recent news release, this mural celebrates National Arab American Heritage Month and focuses on the theme Arab Cityscape.

The Temecula Valley Museum will host a mural unveiling reception at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17. All are invited to view the mural through the end of April at Sam Hicks Monument Park located at 41970 Moreno Road in Temecula.

This free reception is open to the public. There, guests can meet the artists and learn more about the mural and the mural project while enjoying light refreshments.

The City of Temecula’s Mural Project supports emerging artists by providing a space to showcase their craft. Each month, artists have the opportunity to paint a mural on varying topics, facilitated by Tony Moramarco, Creative Director of Bigfoot Art Classes, Cultural Arts Facilitator to the City of Temecula, and Founder of Cartoon-A-Paloozah!
