TEMECULA, CA —It isn’t every day you get a French cooking demonstration at one of the finest cookware stores in Southwest Riverside County. On Saturday, at 11 a.m., Williams Sonoma is hosting a private “meet and greet” tasting with the authors of the cookbook “Flavors of the Temecula Wineries” at the Promenade Temecula Mall.

Tickets are still available for a seat at the tasting, which includes a copy of the cookbook, along with selected food and wine pairings from a Temecula winery, for $65 each.

Cookbook authors Rebecca Farnbach and Martha Culbertson have selected their favorite appetizer and dessert recipes from their collected work "Flavors of the Temecula Valley Wineries."

The hardcover cookbook is filled with over 80 unique recipes paired with local wine from 41 wineries, and a hardcover volume is included with the Williams Sonoma event.

“Our Temecula Williams Sonoma store has embraced our book and plans a celebration centered around tastes of appetizers and a dessert from Flavors of the Temecula Wine Country plus sips of Temecula wines and a special gift from Williams Sonoma,” Farnbach told Patch. “Think of it as a Temecula celebration of a hometown product, our book.”
