Harveston Resident Shares The Merry, Brings Cheer To Temecula Valley

Seeing Christmas lights sprout up across the count is a treat. We found one resident who loves to help his neighbors with holiday displays.

TEMECULA, CA — It's beginning to look like Christmas around Southwest Riverside County. In Temecula, one resident goes the extra mile, using his handyman skills to dress up customer's yards with holiday lights.

Meet Mike Herbach. He's filled with holiday cheer, and his handyman customers say he is one of the most friendly and professional workers around.

Each year, he helps this local family with their holiday display on the 32000 block of Camino Caliari in Temecula.

"Tom and Linda have hired mefor the last four years to install their Christmas lights," he told Patch. "Each year, he buys and adds more lights for us to display. I love them so much."

He also loves hanging decorations at his Harveston home, he says. The large display, with lights dripping from the house and wrapped around tree trunks, along with the enormous nativity scene, can take a week to prepare.

Residents love to drive by his home and take in the sight.

"I love decorating for Christmas," he said. "The only bummer is when we run out of lights!"
