MotoDoffo Of Temecula Named Official Wine Of Sturgis Buffalo Chip

TEMECULA, CA — Temecula's MotoDoffo Wines is celebrating its relationship with the Sturgis Buffalo Chip's bars at this year's Sturgis Motorcycle Rally labeled as "Rally Red," Patch has learned.

The "Rally Red" label artwork shows stunt rider Jimmy Burnouts performing at the Buffalo Chip during the rally, and only 1,500 bottles of the limited edition wine were produced, each bottle is numbered on the back label according to Doffo Winery CEO Damian Doffo.

The Cabernet Sauvignon, branded by the moto-inspired division of the Doffo Family Winery of Temecula, is available online and at locations during the South Dakota motorcycle rally.

In a recent statement, Doffo discussed the new wine and partnership. His mission is to combine the "art in motion" of motorcycling with the family's tradition of handcrafted wines.

"With a powerhouse grape like Cabernet Sauvignon inside the bottle and a bold image of an American V-twin motorcycle on the label, we feel we captured the spirit of the Rally with this wine."

The Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested in 2019 at the family vineyards and cultivated in typical family practices amid the collection of Ducati and other motorcycles at the winery and tasting room.

Each bottle's back label features a serial number and a quote from Buffalo Chip founder Rod "Woody" Woodruff: "Ride free. Take risks. You deserve the best."
