TEMECULA, CA — Great Oak Steakhouse in Temecula's Pechanga Resort Casino has reopened to diners after a 7-month redesign. Changes have been implemented at the restaurant, including increased prices, menu changes, a lounge area, and live entertainment. It remains an upscale steakhouse with a menu of 100 percent Prime Black Angus beef and creatively designed dishes by the chef de cuisine.

The steakhouse has varied open hours and is located at 45000 Pechanga Parkway inside Pechanga Resort Casino.

The steakhouse offers both lounge and dining room menus as part of the redesign and is already being enjoyed by area residents who consider it a favorite special occasion restaurant.

Great Oak Steakhouse has remained on Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiasts' list for its exceptional array of available wine. Still, oenophiles are welcome to bring bottles from their private collections for a corkage fee of $30. The dress code for the establishment is "smart casual," as the staff maintains an "ambiance of sophistication and elegance in a comfortable atmosphere," according to the website.

The restaurant offers a menu designed by chef de cuisine Emmanuel Inocencio, who described the restaurant and his longstanding relationship at Pechanga. According to the website, Great Oak Steakhouse delivers the perfect setting to create those unforgettable life moments over a memorable culinary experience you will savor.

"Sommelier Zachary Abeyta has grown the wine list on the property by 150 new wines, available by both glass and bottle, from California, Chile, and South Africa. The lounge portion of the restaurant, under the watchful eye of mixologist Nicholas Dukes, includes exclusive drinks, exotic ingredients, and an extensive liquor collection.

"Whether it's one of our sumptuous, Prime-Grade Angus steaks seared to your perfect order, one of your favorite seafood delicacies creatively prepared, appetizers and side dishes that go beyond culinary complements, or our exceptional wine list recognized by Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast magazines, the Great Oak stands as the culinary standard for fine-dining ambiance, according to a Pechanga spokesperson.

The new chef de cuisine has worked at Pechanga since 2013. A Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School graduate in Pasadena, Inocencio worked at notable locations, including Angel Stadium, a San Bernardino-area resort/casino, and the historic Mission Inn's Duane's Steakhouse. In 2013, he earned the opportunity to join The Great Oak Steakhouse and has since become one of the champions of Pechanga's culinary success, according to a spokesperson for the resort.

"Coming back to The Great Oak Steakhouse is a full circle moment for me, and I can't wait for our guests to experience the best of what Pechanga has to offer," Inocencio said. "My team and I have poured our hearts into the menu, selecting just the right ingredients and complements to each dish. We think guests are going to like it and come back again and again."

Inocencio leads Temecula's premier steakhouse with a focus on elevating guests' fine-dining experience with top-grade ingredients, incorporating new cooking techniques, and an emphasis on fresh, seasonal options.
