Students at Discovery Isle® in Temecula Hold Donation Drives

Students donated pajamas and food for local children in need during the holidays

Students at Discovery Isle Preschool in Temecula recently donated more than 300 nonperishable food items to Community Mission of Hope, a local charity that seeks to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Throughout the month of December, students and their families held a food drive to support local families in need during the holidays.

In addition to the food drive, Discovery Isle students also held a pajama drive for the Scholastic Pajama Drive, a national initiative by Scholastic to donate pajamas and books to children across the country. Students and their families collected 60 pairs of pajamas for children in need. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of helping others in their community.
