Temecula Parkway Crash At Pechanga Parkway Disrupts Morning Commute

A two-car collision briefly closed westbound Temecula Parkway to through traffic early Friday morning.

TEMECULA, CA—Westbound Temecula Parkway was briefly at a standstill Friday morning after a collision just west of the Pechanga Parkway intersection, witnesses told Patch.

Shortly before 6:45 a.m., westbound Temecula Parkway was closed to through traffic as emergency responders arrived at the scene of a two-car collision. Cal Fire medics treated people with minor injuries at the scene, but no one required hospitalization, according to Riverside County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Dierdre Vickers.

Witnesses told Patch that an SUV and Mustang collided just beyond the Pechanga Parkway intersection. No one was seriously injured, though the collision disrupted all traffic for about an hour.
