Temecula Valley Barrel Tasting Weekend 2024: Winery List, Information

The Temecula Valley Winegrower's Barrel Tasting event is planned for the first weekend in February. Here's what to know when you go.

TEMECULA, CA — The Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association announced the annual Barrel Tasting in February.

Tickets were available online for the combined food and wine pairings held at wineries across the Temecula Valley from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. over two days: February 3 and 4, 2024

  • Sample from 30+ wineries.
  • Delectable food pairings.
  • Exclusive souvenir wine glass.

"Enjoy unfinished barrel and tank wine samples, as well as finished and newly released wines at this once-a-year barrel-tasting event," a spokesperson for the association shared. "Wineries will perfectly pair delectable food samplings with their wine."

At the event, there is something for everyone, with over thirty wineries to choose from over the two-day event. Tickets are $79 plus a $3 fee. Designated driver passes are available daily for a lesser fee of $49 plus a $3 fee.

    What to know:

    • You must select Saturday, Sunday or tickets for both days.
    • All purchasers are asked to select the wineries they plan to attend each day.
    • Stick to your predetermined plan! Wineries are planning on your visit to ensure there is enough food for everyone.

    "These selections will not be reservations and can be modified at any point," a spokesperson for the event said. "This information will allow us to give wineries an estimated headcount and provide everyone the best possible experience during their time in Temecula Valley Wine Country, so we appreciate you sticking to your plan as much as possible!"

    Shuttle and ticket packages are available through Grapeline Wine Tours.

    You must be 21 or over to attend the event.

    "Tour hours will be from 10:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.," according to a recent news release from the association.
