Temecula Valley HS Girls Soccer CIF-SS Playoff Schedule: Round 2

TEMECULA, CA — Temecula Valley High School varsity girls soccer has moved to round 2 of the CIF Southern Section Playoffs, for Winter 2021. The team defeated Long Beach Woodrow Wilson High School 2-1, Wednesday to progress to the next round.

The TVHS girls soccer team will meet Santa Margarita at their home field Golden Bears stadium in Temecula Friday at 5 p.m.

Winners of round one division matchups move on to play Friday, May 14. In Division 1, Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Villa Park High School in Villa Park both have the first day of playoffs off, proceeding directly to the second round, as did Harvard-Westlake in Los Angeles.

In Division 7, Arrowhead Christian High School also earned a bye for their first game of the playoffs.

SECOND ROUND (Divisions 1-6) on May 14 (game times noted on CIF Brackets):

Harvard Westlake will play San Clemente at Harvard Westlake

Santa Margarita will play Temecula Valley High School in Temecula.

Los Alamitos will play Aliso Niguel High School in Aliso Viejo.

Milikan High School will play Santiago High School in Corona.

Villa Park will play Capistrano Valley at Villa Park High School.

University High School will play Upland at Upland.

Pacifica High School (Garden Grove) will play Newport Harbor at Newport Beach.

Huntington Beach will play Mater Dei at Mater Dei High School.

Division 1 - 6 will play quarter-final games on May 18. Semi-final games will be played on May 22 and Final games will be played on May 28 or 29.

Division 7's Quarter Final will be played May 18, Semi-Final will be played May 22, and Final will be played May 28 or 29.

WILD CARD: Division 4

Temple City defeated Highland with a score of 2 to 1.

WILDCARD: Division 5

Campbell Hall High School defeated Chino High School with a score of 2 to 0.

Western Christian High School defeated El Rancho High School with a score of 2 to 1.

Notre Dame Academy defeated Pasadena High School in the first overtime.
