Top Performers Head To Temecula Valley Wine Country: Summer 2024

TEMECULA, CA — Summer concerts are heading to Temecula Valley Wine Country, with big names, familiar songs, and, in many cases, to support local charities and kick up your heels while toasting the sunset.

Here's a quick look at summer concerts to see who's coming to grace the vines on warm summer nights in Temecula Valley Wine Country.

July is a time for tribute bands across Temecula Valley Wine Country at Longshadow Ranch Winery, Mount Palomar Winery, Avensole Winery, Wiens Cellars, and more starting July 12.

JULY:
July 12 Yacht Rock Under the Stars at Longshadow Ranch Winery, located at 39847 Calle Contento. Bring your chairs or dance the night away to the 70s and 80s tunes of The Doobie Brothers, Seals & Croft, England Dan & John Ford Coley, Christopher Cross, Robbie Dupree, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Michael McDonald, Rupert Holmes, Toto, Steely Dan and more. Tickets are $39 each in advance, with a two drink minimum.

July 13, YYNOTT's Tribute to Rush at Mount Palomar Winery located at 33820 Rancho California Road. This is Heyday Production's In the Vineyards, Under the Stars series with a laser light show you won't forget. Expect to hear hits like "Tom Sawyer," "Limelight," "Closer to the Heart," Freewill," and "Subdivisions," among others. Tickets are $39 each. Reserved tables are still available for $158.Food, beer and wine is available at the event.

July 20, Wiens Goes Country: Young Guns. In their free summer concert series, Wiens Cellars, located at 35055 Via Del Ponte, Temecula. Wiens invites all for a day of wine tasting, food trucks and live music. The party starts at 11 a.m. with concerts starting at 3 p.m. with the country classics band Young Guns. This is free to the public until 5 p.m. "Stay and listen to the country classic summertime magic of our special guest band." For more information, see the Patch Calendar.

AUGUST:

In August, tribute bands continue while the South Coast Winery Resort and Spa are hosting the real deal with two concerts celebrating artists from the 1990s and 2000s in their Rhythm on the Vine concert series.

Rhythm On The Vine: South Coast Winery Resort and Spa, located at 34843 Rancho California Road. Two concerts are planned for the beginning and end of August this year. "It's an intimate venue, surrounded by Temecula Valley Wine Country," organizers say. Doors open at 6 p.m., and music begins at 7 p.m. for the Rhythm on the Vine's Summer Concert Series. Tickets and rooms are available on the South Coast Winery Resort & Spa website.

Elle King: Aug. 9 at South Coast Winery: Tickets for this outdoor wine country event are still available, and start at $89 each. King, famed for her "Ex's and Ohs" on her debut album "Love Stuff," and she has since released two more albums, another of which is rumored to be on the way. Come to hear "Baby Daddy's Weekend," "Try Jesus," "Bonafide," "Drunk (and I don't Wanna Go Home)," and "Ex's and Oh's." Look for terrace seating with table service to veranda seating with dinner service. Reserved seats are also available.

Tickets are still available for this event: Welcome back to the 90s and 2000s, as Toad the Wet Sprocket celebrates 30 years as a band, still making music. "The band is thankful for the continued help and enthusiastic support of their fans, which helped spur the release of "All You Want" and inspired the band to tour and play live. While most will still feel the comforting familiarity of the Billboard-charting hits “Walk on the Ocean,”“All I Want,” “Something’s Always Wrong,” and “Fall Down.” Fans will also be well familiar with tracks with lyrics that resonate for so many life milestones like “The Moment,” “I Will Not Take These Things for Granted,” and so many more.


The Verve Pipe, a special guest for the night, will share the stage in this performance. With pop hooks and alternative guitar, frontman Brian Vander Ark has written lyrics for songs that tug at the heartstrings, such as "The Freshmen," "Colorful" the voice behind Mark Wahlberg in the feature film "Rockstar," and "Photograph," they are known for "turning the everyday experiences of modern existence into songs that are celebratory and cathartic."


Also in August,look for a Journey/REO Speedwagon Tribute Concert at Mount Palomar Winery on Friday, Aug. 9 and Earth to Mars, The Bruno Mars Experience at Bel Vino Winery on Friday, Aug. 23.

SEPTEMBER, 2024:

September will see a full day of rodeo events, winetasting, good eating, and a country concert to beat the band at Peltzer Farms and Winery in support of Charity for Charity, a local wish-fulfilling non-profit.

Way Out West Fest: Sept. 14 at Peltzer Winery: Tickets are now available for the full-day charity fundraiser in support of Charity for Charity. This is the 3rd annual Way out West Fest, which will be held on September 14 at Peltzer Winery in support of Charity for Charity. According to organizers, this will be a full day of bull riding, mutton busting, and ranch rodeo. For the guests, there will be a mechanical bull, the Riverside County Sheriff's on Horseback, shopping, and wine tasting at the Peltzer Ranch Winery. The headliner for the event is Corey Kent for "rock-infused country," inspired by bands like The Eagles, Keith Richards, and Turnpike Troubadours. Look for hits like "This Heart," "Rust," and "Something's Gonna Kill Me."

Also in September, look for Devotional: The Depeche Mode Experience" on Friday, Sept. 20 at Bel Vino Winery, and "Rock Fest," Which will feature tributes to Queen and Kiss on Sept. 27 at Mount Palomar Winery, and Heyday's 1st Winery EDM on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Mount Palomar Winery.
