Traffic Alert: Nicolas Road Lane Closures This Weekend
Drivers in north Temecula, be advised: Nicolas Road will be shut down most of the day Saturday in this area.
TEMECULA, CA — Driving around in north Temecula on Saturday? Be advised. There will be increased traffic on Nicolas Road due to some street paving, the city of Temecula announced this week.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area of Nicolas Road east of Winchester Road between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday.
The contractors will be repaving Nicolas Road between North General Kearny Road and Villa Valencia during drive-time Saturday, they reported.

"One lane will remain open in both directions at all times," the city announced.
