Want To Be On TV? 'House Hunters' Looking For SoCal Families

Interested in being on HGTV? "House Hunters" is looking for applicants.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA -- "House Hunters," the popular HGTV show that follows individuals and families as they search for homes, is looking for southern California residents.

The network said they are "looking for outgoing families who are passionate about their search for a new home and want to share their experience on television.

Ideal families will have children between the ages of 7 and 15 who are "excited and opinionated," the network said.

"House Hunters," which was created in 1999, allows viewers to follow people looking to buy a home alongside a real estate agent. After visiting multiple homes, they select one. The show has multiple spinoffs, including "Island Hunters" and "House Hunters on Vacation."
