Power Outage Reported In Canton

The power company is replacing a transformer near Canton Town Hall in Collinsville.

CANTON, CT — Power will be out for a good portion of the day Wednesday in the Collinsville section of Canton, town officials said.

Power is expected to be turned off for "several hours" as Eversource Energy replaces a transformer near Canton Town Hall, the town wrote.

"We are unaware of the exact streets that will be without power," wrote the Canton Department of Public Works.
