Durham Animal Response Team's 2024 Town-Wide Tag Sale

Navigate your way through Connecticut's original Sunflower Maze! 350,000 blooming yellow, red, and orange sunflowers are crafted into a design! $1 of every admission goes to support Connecticut Children's Center for Cancer &amp; Blood Disorders. The Lyman Orchards family wants children battling cancer to reach for the stars and never lose hope. The Lyman Orchards Sunflower Maze, Connecticut’s original Sunflower Maze officially opens Saturday, July 27th at 9 am and runs until Sunday, August 25th. 
Each visitor receives an official Sunflower Maze Map to help guide you through the twists and turns along the pathways. You'll also be given a Maze Passport featuring ten trivia questions related to the maze theme, or choose from a selection of passports featuring categories ranging from "movies" to "sports" trivia. Answering each questions correctly will help you choose the right direction at each of ten main crossroad stations within the maze.
Purchase your ticket, pick up your maze map and passport, then make your way through nearly one mile of winding pathways surrounded by 350,000 sunflowers! Climb atop our 10 ft. viewing platform for the ultimate view and group photos. The setting is serene and the scenery is spectacular for this one-of-a-kind experience!

Walk your way through nearly one mile of winding pathways in Connecticut's original Sunflower Maze and wet your whistle on a variety of wines from three Connecticut wineries.&nbsp;
The 2024 Hartford Yard Goats Themed Sunflower Maze at Lyman Orchards is approximately 3 acres with 350,000 yellow, red, and orange sunflowers! During your walk amid the sunflowers, you'll see butterflies and yellow finches, with the surrounding orchard hills as a beautiful scenic backdrop. Join Reiki Master Katie Cavenagh for a Reiki infused restorative sound bath. Receive the gentle healing of the sound waves as they carry distance reiki to each participant. 
Reiki is an energy healing practice from Japan that channels universal life force energy through the facilitator to others. This energy reminds the receivers that they can choose to align with a frequency of healing and love in order to balance and harmonize their body. Once accepted, the energy knows exactly what to do and where to go. It offers a peaceful reset to what appears to be out of balance. 
Sound healing is an ancient practice of utilizing sound frequencies to harmonize and realign the vibrations of the physical, mental, emotional, and energetic body. When the conscious mind can’t find a reference point for what it hears, it surrenders to the subconscious and quiets itself down. This helps the body to relax, receive, rejuvenate, rebuild, and realign.
When put together, the distance reiki sent over the sound waves is amplified. This can give a deeper healing experience, since both modalities offer changes at the cellular level. Couple that alongside positive suggestions for healing, and the body is able to restructure beliefs about its own ability to heal itself. 
This powerful session is only open to 8 participants and registration is required. Please bring a mat, pillow, blanket, water, and anything else you may need for your comfort. Some gravity chairs and recliners are available on a first come, first served basis.

We encourage gently used household goods &amp; clothing, vintage treasures, or handmade crafts. Please contact us with any questions on what you'd like to bring. No hazardous materials or weapons allowed to be sold.</li><li>Join the Sale: Show up at 7:30am the day of the event, set up your space, and get ready to sell!</li><li>Please do not bring hazardous materials, weapon, knives, etc.</li><li>No Vendors Allowed.</li></ol>

Enjoy a Full Moon Sound Meditation in "The Meadow" at Lyman Orchards Golf Club with The Conduit on select days in 2024. Relax to the soothing sounds of live gongs and singing bowls washing over you for deep meditative bliss. Lean into the heightened lunar energy of each Full Moon to align with your highest self.
During the Conduit's sound-meditation, you will quickly access the benefits of a deep meditative practice, without needing any experience or special techniques. Experience a live sound journey, finding stillness through the orchestration, allowing a deep connection to the space within your heart, mind and body. As the vibrations gently hold you, release mental and emotional blockages, and invite and strengthen a connection with your inner self.
Please bring props for your comfort. A zero gravity chair is perfect - or a beach towel with a yoga mat and a pillow and blanket would work as well. Eye coverings and water are also encouraged.
Approximately 60-75 minutes in length.
Registration is required. $25 per person.
