Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Juvenile In East Hampton: Police

The man was arrested on a warrant, according to police.

EAST HAMPTON, CT — A Middletown man is accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile in East Hampton, according to police.

Scott Predom, 61, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant in connection with an investigation that began in March.

“The arrest was based on the results of an investigation that revealed Predom had sexually assaulted a juvenile male multiple times in the Town of East Hampton between June and November of 2022,” police wrote in a news release. “The incident was first reported to the Department on March 21, 2024.”

Predom was charged with second-degree sexual assault, third-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor, and first-degree public indecency.

He was held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
