Over $3K Worth Of Items Stolen From 2 CVS Pharmacies, 3 Arrested: Greenwich PD

GREENWICH, CT — Over $3,000 worth of hygiene products were stolen from two CVS pharmacies in Greenwich this week, and three people were arrested, according to police.

Nicole Rivera, 36, and Anthony Jimenez, 45, were charged with organized retail theft of less than $10,000, third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit organized retail theft, and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, their arrest reports show.

Frederick Quintana, 60, was charged with the same two conspiracy charges, police said. All three arrestees are from The Bronx, N.Y.

Around 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, multiple Greenwich police units were called to the CVS in Cos Cob on a report of a shoplifting.

CCTV footage provided by CVS Asset Protection showed Rivera and Jimenez stealing $885 worth of hygiene products and getting into a black sedan, which was driven by Quintana, police said.

Another shoplifting was later reported in the CVS in Old Greenwich, police said, with Rivera and Jimenez stealing $2,192 worth of hygiene products.

The sedan was later stopped by police near Sound Beach Avenue and Station Drive, where Rivera, Jimenez and Quintana were arrested, police noted.

Quintana posted a $5,000 bond and was released, but Jimenez and Rivera were unable to post $50,000 bonds and they remained in custody, police said.

All three are scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Aug. 30.
