CT Real Estate Investors Association to Host Expo This Weekend, Nov. 5 and 6, Sheraton at Rocky Hill - Open to All

The CT Real Estate Investors Association (www.ctreia.com) will host their 13th Annual Real Estate Investors Expo on Saturday, November 5, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, November 6, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Hartford South hotel in Rocky Hill. This two-day Expo is Connecticut’s largest event for real estate investors, entrepreneurs, and professionals at every level to learn about buying, selling, rehabbing, holding and flipping real estate.

Attendees will learn how to find, fund, analyze and negotiate deals plus identify resources for being successful in this profession. The highly-informative and extensively-educational two-day Expo is designed for new to seasoned investors and real estate professionals.

The 2016 Real Estate Expo is open to real estate investors at all levels, landlords, business owners, contractors, rehabbers, and wholesalers. Numerous national and local area real estate professionals will present educational seminars during both days of the Expo to provide insights for every level of real estate investing. Nationally-known real estate investor presenters will include Alan Cowgill, Chris Johnson, and Cameron Dunlap.

The seminars will provide information on: how to find real estate deals inside and outside of the MLS; how to analyze properties; what words to use when negotiating; how to find vacant bank-owned, pre-foreclosure, and probate properties, and turn them into profit-making deals; how to find private money, and grants to purchase and rehab houses and apartments; and how to negotiate owner financing.

Attendees will also learn up-to-the-minute strategies for buying, fixing, and selling/renting properties from local Connecticut investors who will present case studies of transactions performed during the past 12 months. Participants will learn how to build a team of professional experts, hire contractors, save money on materials, estimate repairs, work successfully with building inspectors, plus keep a project on target and within budget.

Additional seminars will focus on financing and tax benefits; finding money and money-saving deals; no-money-down and owner current real estate market conditions, trends, and alternatives; plus advanced investing and financing techniques.

Seminars will also be offered for landlords and other rental property investors and business owners who want to learn how to increase occupancy rates, cut costs, increase their profits and potentially create new income streams. Building contractors will have opportunities to meet one-to-one with wholesalers and rehabbers, while marketing tips will be offered for wholesalers. Vendors providing specialized services for real estate entrepreneurs will be on hand to offer their expertise as well as offer discounted prices.

An Expo VIP Package is offered for attendees who desire additional opportunities to network with successful investors. Friday evening VIP attendees will be able to walk through a renovated property and learn how the property’s host found, financed, fixed, staged, and marketed the property for sale or rent. Saturday evening VIP participants will be able to ask questions directly to the Super Stars Dinner panel presenters and coaches. As a special offer, a few lucky investors will be able to present their project for potential funding.
