Foxwoods Reports $30.5 Million In Slot Revenue For September

The casino contributed $7.8 million to the state during that period.

LEDYARD, CT – Foxwoods® Resort Casino is reporting slot revenue of $30.5 million for the month of September 2022. This results in a $7.8 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has deposited over $4.5 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue directly into the state’s budget fund.

Last month, Foxwoods closed off the summer with their Entertainment Labor Day Sale, where they were able to purchase tickets to see their favorite artists and bands at discounted rates. Additionally, in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September, Foxwoods lit up its Fox Tower in gold to raise awareness around the cause and support children and families who have been affected by cancer worldwide. The resort casino invited all guests and community members to “Go Gold” for children with cancer and support those in need during this month, and year-round.

Foxwoods’ Hotel Sale kicked off from October 3 through October 7, where guests had the opportunity to plan their next fall trip and receive 20% off deluxe rooms for stays now through November 30, or get 30% off deluxe rooms for stays between December 1 and February 28. Additionally, Foxwoods hosted Oktoberfest High Stakes Bingo on October 15, where guests had the opportunity to win $15,000 in regular game payouts.

Star-studded performances hit the stage at Foxwoods, including Country superstar Kelsea Ballerini, ABBA The Concert – A Tribute to Abba, legendary rock stars, ZZ Top, SERENADE featuring R&B legends Ne-Yo, Musiq Soulchild, and J. Holiday, Little River Band, Freestyle Extravaganza featuring freestyle music pioneers including Stevie B, Lisa Lisa, TKA/K7, George Lamond, The Cover Girls, Johnny O, Noel, Shannon, and Cynthia, and comedian Preacher Lawson.

Looking ahead, Foxwoods is rolling out exciting events and promotions through the end of October. On October 29 guests can celebrate Halloween weekend at Foxwoods’ Grand Pequot Tower Lawn with the Spooky Bash on the Grass event, featuring kid-friendly movies, costume contests, delicious food items, and loads of candy and fun for families to enjoy.

On October 21, Foxwoods Rewards Members can tier up faster than ever with the 2x Rewards Points + Tier Credits promotion, where they can use their Foxwoods Rewards card to earn 2x Rewards Points and 2x tier Credits. Pointzilla is returning to Foxwoods on October 28, where Foxwoods Rewards Members can also use their Foxwoods Rewards Card to play their favorite slot or table games, and guests can multiply their rewards points and redeem rewards. Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to win their share of $25,000 in cash and prizes during the Bobbin for Bucks promotion on October 31 by swiping their Foxwoods Rewards Cards at any promotions kiosk for the chance to win Bonus Slot Play, Rewards Points or over 100 cash prizes.

Performances taking place at Foxwoods for the remainder of October include Comedic Corner every Friday and Saturday, legendary comedian Ron White on October 21, and Grammy award-winning artists Victor Manuelle & India on October 23.

As part of Foxwoods’ monthly donation initiative for the resort casino’s 30th anniversary, Foxwoods Resort Casino donated $30,000 to the Native American Rights Fund (NARF), an organization that supports and provides legal assistance to Indian tribes, organizations and individual nationwide, as a thank you to the community that has supported Foxwoods throughout its 30 years.
