Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Ledyard

If you’re about to head home from work, be prepared to deal with some fog.

The National Weather Service issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” and a “Dense Fog Advisory” for Middlesex and New London counties until 1 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15.

According to a National Weather Service statement, visibility will be one quarter of a mile or less. The NWS reminds drivers to slow down and use low-beam headlights.

Keep substantial distance between you and the car in front of you, in case of sudden stop.

Expect showers and possible thunderstorms late Monday night and approximately half an inch of rain before the sun returns early Tuesday.
