Ledyard Family Health Center Will No Longer Offer Urgent Care
A spokesperson said the center is doing away with the service due to lack of demand.
LEDYARD, CT – Backus Family Health Center will no longer offer urgent care services beginning Saturday, The Day reported.
The center, located on Lorenz Industrial Parkway, is affiliated with the William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, according to The Day. A spokesperson said the center is doing away with the service due to lack of demand for it.
Ledyard patients still have options for urgent care in Uncasville and Norwich, The Day reported. Primary care will still be offered at the Ledyard facility.
