Shine a Light on Heroin Kick-Off Taking Place in May
The event seeks to raise awareness on an "ever-growing heroin crisis" in the southeastern region of Connecticut.
Shine a Light on Heroin’s kick-off event will take place at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at Ocean Beach in New London.
“Join our cause to maximize public awareness and seek solutions to the ever-growing heroin crisis as ‘Shine a Light on Heroin’ expands from Westerly, R.I. [and] Stonington to the Southern R.I. and southeastern CT region,” the flier states.
