This year marks a significant anniversary - 40 years - of this time-honored event. To think, in 1975, just a handful of golfers participated in the very first tournament, raising awareness and a whopping $1,000.00. Last year’s sold out tournament was attended by 144 golfers, and raised over $76,000, thanks to the support of our dedicated businesses and sponsors.

To date, this Tournament has raised over one million dollars to support the various program and needs of at-risk children and families served.

Each year, sponsors and guests join together for a day of fun and festivities to benefit BGV. The 40th Annual Dan & Yolanda Adley Memorial Golf Tournament begins with a day of golf, complete with lunch, player gifts and prizes, followed by a spectacular dinner reception complemented by a live auction and raffles. One lucky golfer may even take home a brand new vehicle, compliments of our Hole-In-One Sponsor.

The BGV Board of Directors has been faithfully served by four generations of the Adley family. They continue to dedicate their time to the Tournament, as well.

“In the first few years of the Tournament, it was more about creating awareness,’ shared Kevin Hart, President of the Village Foundation and this year’s Event Co-Chair. Event Chair and granddaughter of Dan & Yolanda, Gina Hart adds,“Throughout the past 39 years, this event – named in honor of my grandparents – has become a key fundraiser for BGV.”
