Amity Set For Volleyball Championship Contest Saturday

State champions will be crowned this weekend in soccer, volleyball, field hockey and swimming at seven venues throughout Connecticut.

Celebrations will take place this weekend at seven venues across Connecticut, as Championship Weekend will feature 15 state title matchups in boys and girls soccer, girls volleyball and field hockey, as well as the State Open for girls swimming.

Swimming and volleyball will take place Saturday as scheduled; due to accumulated snow at several venues, all soccer and field hockey finals have been moved to Sunday. Click here for the revised schedules, as well as title histories and rosters.

A total of 28 schools will be represented among the 30 finalists in soccer, volleyball and field hockey. Two schools, Staples and Immaculate, are playing in two title games (girls soccer, field hockey).
