The building had been home to Bob's for 30 years before the retailer moved to another Orange location at 550 Boston Post Road. The furniture store outgrew its previous space and moved to the 23,000 square-foot location last September.

According to its website, Bob’s Furniture Store started in 1991, when it set out to provide quality furniture at a price everyone can afford in a fun and haggle-free environment.

Bob’s Discount Furniture is the eighth largest furniture chain with 165 stores across 24 states.
