Man Suffering Medical Emergency Crashes Truck Into Pole: Orange PD

ORANGE, CT — A 49-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after his car rolled over, Town of Orange Police Department said.

On Tuesday, around 4:43 p.m., emergency services responded to a single-vehicle crash on Derby Road, police said.

The truck went off the road, struck a pole near Dentree Drive, and rolled over, police said.

An initial investigation determined the 49-year-old man was suffering a medical emergency before the crash, police said.

The man suffered some non-life-threatening injuries from the car crash and was transported to an area hospital, police said.

Traffic is being detoured on area roads until the pole can be stabilized, police said.
