Davis Reminds Orange Residents to Consider Enrolling for Heating Aid Program

Davis wants residents to consider the program as winter approaches.

State Representative Paul Davis serving the 117th Assembly District representing Miflord, Orange and West Haven is reminding area residents who may qualify for the state’s low-income winter heating aid program to consider enrolling as soon as possible.

“We could be facing a difficult winter and the cost of providing heat may be a challenge for some families,” Davis said in a press release. “I would urge residents who may be eligible to think about enrolling because many people are expected to apply for heating assistance statewide.”

A joint meeting of the General Assembly’s Appropriations, Human Services and Energy Committees approved plans for winter assistance last month.
