A student-athlete from Orange is competing this winter for one of the state's four Division II universities.

ORANGE, CT — Looking for something to do during winter break? We suggest you check out Connecticut-bred student-athletes who are playing for one of the state's four Division II universities.

About 180 state student-athletes, including one from Orange, are pursuing their academic and sports endeavors this winter at the University of Bridgeport, the University of New Haven, Post University or Southern Connecticut State University, based on rosters provided by those institutions.

New Haven has 13 student-athletes on in-state D-II rosters, Stratford has nine and Waterbury has seven.
